Information and Media Technologies
Information and Media Technologies have a substantial industrial base in Hamburg. Therefore this program combines the advantages of a solid base in computer science and media design with the vicinity of a rapidly evolving market and the synergies of a close cooperation with major companies active in the field. The Information and Media Technologies program provides theoretical underpinnings and hands-on experience for future experts or technology managers in the fields of multimedia and Internet technologies.
The program is organized as a two-year course (four semesters) which starts on 1st October each year. It includes two semesters of lectures and practical courses and two semesters devoted to work in a research team (project work) and to the preparation of a master's thesis. The "Master of Science" degree will be awarded. Language of the program is English.
