Information on the necessary prior knowledge and prerequisites in mathematics for engineering studies is available as part of the MINTFIT.HAMBURG test, which is available free of charge online.
Within the framework of the online mathematics preperation course OMB+, which is available free of charge online, and the video-based interactive pre-courses ViaMINT (in German only) which are available free of charge online, you can refresh your mathematics knowledge and prepare specifically for the mathematics requirements of a degree course in engineering.

The TUHH offers the Parent Talk, a discussion group for parents of prospective students, as part of the event "Taster Days". There, a student advisor answers questions about the choice of study and university, career prospects and other topics.
The Federal Employment Agency in Hamburg, with the participation of the TUHH, informs prospective high school graduates from Hamburg schools and their parents once a year at the "Update Parents" event about training and study opportunities as well as related information and counselling services.
