was awarded to the joint team from the ACPS Institute (led by Prof. Renner), Hochschule Niederrhein, and the University of Duisburg-Essen, for their work on advancing battery-free embedded systems.

"Stein's method and stochastic geometry" was organized by Prof. M. Schulte (E-10) and Prof. C. Bhattacharjee (UHH) and supported by the DFG priority program SPP 2265 Random Geometric Systems.
Julian Neundorf (E-EXK3) was honored for his master's thesis "Untersuchung über die Auswirkungen verschiedener Messspannungsparameter bei der Bioimpedanzmessung von Kartoffeln".
The School of EIM offers 5 Bachelor's degree programs and 8 Master's degree programs (7 of which are international). Teaching focuses on the following areas: Analog and Digital Microelectronics & Sensors, Data Science & Machine Learning, Computer Science & Engineering, and Technomathematics.
Research in the School of EIM includes Energy Engineering, Cyber-Physical Systems, Data Science, Medical Engineering, and Modeling, Simulation & Optimization.
