Prof. Timm Faulwasser receives the European Control Award

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Timm Faulwasser has been awarded the prestigious European Control Award for his outstanding research achievements in the field of control engineering and systems theory. The prize was awarded to Prof. Faulwasser for his contributions to the optimization-based control of non-linear and stochastic systems. The prize is awarded by the European Control Association (EUCA) and honors researchers in the phase of consolidating their research profile. At the 24th European Control Conference, Timm Faulwasser will receive the prize and give an overview of his research in a plenary lecture.

Prof. Faulwasser's research focuses on optimization-based, predictive and data-driven control of nonlinear and networked systems, with practical applications in the fields of mechatronics, energy, process engineering, climate economics and beyond. This award recognizes his outstanding scientific work. We warmly congratulate Prof. Faulwasser.
