Department 1: University Strategy
The University Strategy Department assists the Executive Board with Hamburg University of Technology’s strategic alignment and development. It is responsible for drawing up the structure and development plan, preparing target and performance agreements and working on projects of strategic, overall university importance, including faculty recruiting. It thereby coordinates horizontal networking between university departments and is responsible for Executive Board reporting.
Its tasks also include setting up and supporting strategic cooperations and partnerships with the aim of networking Hamburg University of Technology in science, business, politics and society, of which the interfaces with alumni and with our university’s founders and sponsors of form an important basis.
