recalm, has raised over 3 million euros in a successful Series A financing round. The investment comes from IBG Venture Capital Fund IV, which is managed by bmp Ventures AG, SymbiaVC - the investment arm of Barbara Peifer Privatstiftung - and existing investors such as Silvercrown Capital SE, the VC arm of Bernard Krone Holding SE & Co. KG and GREENEERING INVEST AG.

Revolutionary audio and communication solutions in driver's cabs

The start-up from Hamburg University of Technology develops advanced audio and communication solutions for machine and vehicle cabins. With their patented ANCOR technology, they actively reduce noise pollution and optimise communication in driver's cabs. As a result, they not only improve the comfort and efficiency of machine operators, but also help to optimise work processes in the industry.

The team intends to use this fresh capital to further advance its vision of transforming noise into sound. The plan is to set up its own production site in Barleben near Magdeburg, where purchasing, production and logistics will be bundled on 800 square metres. At the same time, Hamburg will remain the centre of research and development for the innovative ANCOR technology - the basis for the continuous improvement of the recalm software solution.

As part of the expansion, the existing product portfolio will be extended to include the ANCOR Custom 2026 cab integration solution. This solution will be launched on the market together with leading construction and agricultural machinery manufacturers, such as Maschinenfabrik Bernard Krone GmbH, in order to meet the growing demand for optimised audio and communication systems in driver cabs.

With this investment, recalm is strengthening its position as a leading provider of audio and communication solutions in driver cabs. In addition to the fresh capital, the company also benefits from extensive industry expertise and strategic networks that pave the way for scaled series production and further business development.
