Application guideline for the coming application period

Would  you like to study at TUHH?

The admission requirements at TUHH are very strict and only applicants with very high GPA in their previous studies can get admission to the international Master's degree course. During a short online pre-check we will check in particular if your GPA is meeting our admission requirements. Once you have entered your data we will send you an e-mail to advise on whether you stand a reasonable chance of gaining admission to study for an international Master's degree at the TUHH. If you do, the e-mail will also include a link to our online application facility. It is not possible to access the application facility without the pre-check.

The application period for winter semester 2025/26 starts in December 2024 with the required pre-check. The pre-check is available form December 1 until March 1, 2025. The online application starts from January 15, 2025 and ends on March 1, 2025.

Exceptions:

Further information for applicants for the summer semester 2025 in the Master degree courses Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and Information Technology:

The degree program is generally not internationally oriented. Admission can be expected from February 2025 at the earliest. Please note this if you come from outside the EU. The TUHH cannot assist with visa procedures and, for reasons of duty of care, does not issue certificates that allow delayed entry after the start of studies. In principle, we expect you to be present in person at the start of your studies.
