Situation
The inbound transports and intra logistics are characterized by standard operations with classical equipment.

Problem
In the past years logistics was not recognized as a core competency. This will change in the near future due to financial and environmental requirements by the market and government.

Aims of the project
Set up a feasibility study with a comprehensive cost analysis for various improvements of the logistics. The focus should be on

• Lean principles - reduced handlings
• Cost reduction - less equipment, less people  
• Environmental aspects - CO2 footprint

Scopes

• Inbound transports for warehouse to the plant/assembly stations
• Intra logistics inside the warehouse
• Plant transport for tools provisioning
