Students at the TU Hamburg awarded the Jungheinrich Prize

This year, the Dr. Friedrich Jungheinrich Foundation awarded prizes for outstanding achievements in undergraduate studies at Hamburg University of Technology for the eighteenth time in a row. Eight students were awarded individual prizes of 800 and 500 euros each as well as the team prize of 350 euros each for their work in the field of design engineering.

Mattes Lukas Rix took first place in the individual prize, with second place going to Simon Folkers. The team winners were Noel Andresen, Abdulkareem Eid, Felix Leonard Handke, Jasper Mathis Müller, Sonja May and David Mosbach.

The award ceremony took place under the direction of Professor Dieter Krause, Head of the Institute of Product Development and Mechanical Engineering Design at the TU Hamburg. Professor Krause expressed his delight at the awards given to students who have achieved outstanding results during their studies and who demonstrate a passion for design and product development. He thanked the Dr. Friedrich Jungheinrich Foundation for its support in promoting the next generation of engineers.
