Poll systems are a useful tool for finding out about the students' learning status and activating the participants in a large class. For this purpose “Clicker” sets are available at the TUHH - but voting can also take place with mobile devices (Pingo, Particify, Questionnaire in Stud.IP, Zoom survey function). One important advantages of these kind of poll is that you are able to get a feedback from many students at once. In addition, understanding or prior knowledge can be checked or activated. The protection of anonymity, in contrast to a show of hands, ensures greater participation.
