Depending on the result, the lecturer can then take corrective action before the examination. Interim tests can be provided on paper or online with VIPS in Stud.IP, in Ilias (https://www2.tuhh.de/zll/freischwimmer/ilias-tipps/); or Maple TAand automatically evaluated depending on the type of question. For some subjects, freely available online tests are also suitable for self-testing, such as those offered by MINT Fit Hamburg. The tests can be made available purely for self-assessment or can also be included in the assessment at the end, for example by means of bonus points.
