At this year's 'Schnupperstudium' at Hamburg University of Technology (TU Hamburg) on 25 February, prospective students were given exciting insights into various engineering sciences. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering was also represented with its own contribution.
Prof. Rutner, Head of the Institute of Metal and Composite Construction, gave a vivid presentation of the B.Sc. Civil and Environmental Engineering degree programme and explained the motivation, content and future prospects for graduates in a practical way. After the presentation, student ambassadors reported on their everyday life as students and why they chose their degree programme. The participants then had the opportunity to ask questions.
In addition, the Fachschaftsrat (FSR) BU offered insights into everyday student life at its own stand and answered questions about studying at TU Hamburg. The event gave participants an insight into the TU Hamburg and the degree programme.
