The aim is to transform the courses into international and interdisciplinary events in the format of challenge-based learning, in which TUHH students as well as students from various study programs at ECIU partner universities will participate in the winter semester 2025/26.
The lecturers will open their English-language course to at least 10 international students from ECIU University and will repeat the course at least once in this format.
We would like to congratulate them:
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Mirko Skiborowski and Dr.-Ing. Thomas Waluga (Process Systems Engineering) for sponsoring the “Synthesis and Design of Industrial Processes” challenge with a first implementation in the winter semester 2025/26
and, subject to conditions, the WorkINGlab team for funding the challenge “Everyday Heroes: Innovating Assistive Tools for Children with Special Needs” to be carried out for the first time in the winter semester 2025/26.
These challenges will each receive 20,000 euros for further development and initial implementation, as well as a further 4,000 euros for repetition. At the end of the event, the teachers will share their experiences within an ECIU or TUHH event.
