During his visit to Prof. Heinrich's Institute of Solids Process Engineering and Particle Technology (V-03), Prof. Wang will give a lecture on fluidized bed drying and coating process, which is is open to the university public.
In his lecture, he will explain how the drying and coating process with high-moisture particles in a conical fluidised bed is investigated with the aid of two-modal process tomography, i.e. electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) and microwave tomography (MWT). In the study, the influence of different inlet fluidised bed velocities and temperatures on the drying process was analysed using the measurement data.
