Hamburg University of Technology is pleased to announce that Prof. Dr Frank Kleine Jäger has been awarded the title of Professor in accordance with Section 17 of the Hamburg Higher Education Act in March 2025.

The award of the title is a special honour that is only conferred on the basis of outstanding achievements - comparable to those of a regularly appointed professor. Candidates often have a high level of practical relevance and thus optimally complement teaching.

As Head of Solids Formulation and Handling at BASF, Prof. Dr Frank Kleine Jäger has been passing on his expertise through his lecture ‘Solid Process Engineering in the Chemical Industry’ at the TUHH for many years. He is also a valued speaker at the Professional Course on Fluidisation Technology, which is organised by Stefan Heinrich.

We congratulate Prof Dr Kleine Jäger on his appointment as Professor at the Hamburg University of Technology and are delighted that his contributions to research and teaching will continue here.
