International Affairs at the School of MST

Information for Incomings

Since its founding in 1978, Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) has turned into a popular and successful training centre for the new generation of (business) engineers. The MST is the youngest TUHH department and was founded in 2007. We offer four different bachelor and master study programs which reflect the department’s manifold content alignment with a combination of classical business administration subjects such as strategy, HR and marketing along with expertise in adjacent disciplines such as entrepreneurship, innovation, logistics, and mobility.

Teaching excellence is one of the most important goals at TUHH and our department. Together with the Center for Teaching and Learning, educators work with students and faculty to develop methods that activate students in the learning process, and help them to develop in-depth understanding that takes them well beyond their next exam.

The university's extensive range of international degree programs and our excellent reputation attract plenty of foreign students. Around one in five of our students come from abroad, spending all or part of their studies here.

Apart from this, Hamburg is really a city worth living in. Germany's second largest city can offer its residents a unique proximity to water and green spaces in combination with the benefits of living in the middle of a pulsating metropolis. Besides a broad range of activities appealing to sports enthusiasts, culture vultures can watch a movie or a musical, go to an open-air concert or immerse themselves in Hamburg’s legendary night life.
