Student council BaU celebrates topping-out ceremony 2024

As every year, shortly before Christmas, the topping-out ceremony of the BaU student council took place on 13 November. Using edible building materials such as speculoos, gingerbread, gummy bears, icing and much more, imaginative buildings were constructed according to this year's motto ‘Castles and fortresses’. In groups of 3-5 students, they designed and constructed with lots of fun and skill while enjoying music and Christmas treats.

The jury consisted of professors and academic staff from the School. At the end, the best three constructions were honoured. The winner was the team ‘Die Statik-Schnapsnasen’. Congratulations to them!

Once again, everyone involved had a lot of fun. The School's Management of Civil and Environmental Engineering would like to thank the student council for organising the event.
