Android (from version 11)
Please make sure that the eduroam network is not yet configured on your device. If necessary, remove eduroam from the saved networks using the Do not remember button.
Note: The setup via the geteduraom app must be carried out again after each password change.- Please remove any existing eduroam configuraion first.
- With an existing internet connection (mobile data/your wi-fi at home) you can download and install the "geteduroam" app from the Google Play Store.
- By opening https://cat.eduroam.org/ or by searching for "Hamburg University of Technology" in the app, you can reach the configuration profile of the TUHH.
- Open the profile with the "getEduroam" app and follow the instructions.
- After setting up the connection you must not uninstall the app, because with the app also the eduroam profil will be deleted and you will have no internet with your device.
The MAC address randomization features as Default affects the Wi-Fi experience.
Please pay attention to the following settings:
Apple: Wi-Fi > eduroam > Private Wi-Fi-Adress > disable with slider > ignore privacy warning
Android: Wi-Fi > eduroam > Show more > MAC-Adresstyp > Phone MAC

(Unblocker are programs which can unlock content, that is blocked in one country, but not another.)
