Android (from version 11)

These settings only apply to students and employees of the TUHH. Students of other universities please use the settings of their university, also with us at the TUHH.

Please make sure that the eduroam network is not yet configured on your device. If necessary, remove eduroam from the saved networks using the Do not remember button.

Note: The setup via the geteduraom app must be carried out again after each password change.
  1. Please remove any existing eduroam configuraion first.
  2. With an existing internet connection (mobile data/your wi-fi at home) you can download and install the "geteduroam" app from the Google Play Store.
  3. By opening https://cat.eduroam.org/ or by searching for "Hamburg University of Technology" in the app, you can reach the configuration profile of the TUHH.
  4. Open the profile with the "getEduroam" app and follow the instructions.
  5. After setting up the connection you must not uninstall the app, because with the app also the eduroam profil will be deleted and you will have no internet with your device.

The MAC address randomization features as Default affects the Wi-Fi experience.

Please pay attention to the following settings:
Apple: Wi-Fi > eduroam > Private Wi-Fi-Adress > disable with slider > ignore privacy warning
Android: Wi-Fi > eduroam > Show more > MAC-Adresstyp > Phone MAC

Please make sure that your device has the latest patches installed, that you are not using more than one anti-virus program and that no "unblocker" is active.
(Unblocker are programs which can unlock content, that is blocked in one country, but not another.)

During the semester, the WLAN consultation will take place in E2.048 with Finn Müller and Phillip Vogel. You can find the dates here, as well as in the corridors in the E building.
