The fees for this internal usage are based on the usage rates of the DFG (DFG Form 55.04) and include the project-specific usage costs per device hour in operational mode, meaning that the institute staff operates the equipment.

 

2. Equipment Usage by TUHH Institutes for Industry Projects

For industry projects conducted by TUHH institutes, usage fees for equipment class 1 (GK 1) amount to €100 (plus VAT) per hour, and for equipment class 2 (GK 2) the fees are €150 (plus VAT) per hour. Institute staff operates the equipment. The cost for sample preparation performed by BEEM staff is €50 (plus VAT) per hour.

 

3. Industry Projects or Commercial Use

If BEEM is commissioned for commercial use directly, the usage fees for equipment class 1 (GK 1) are €150 (plus VAT) per hour and for equipment class 2 (GK 2) are €200 (plus VAT) per hour. BeEM staff operates the equipment. The cost for sample preparation performed by BEEM staff is €100 (plus VAT) per hour.

 

4. Collaborative Projects

For collaborative projects with BEEM, special fee arrangements can be negotiated.

 

5. Teaching

No fees are charged for the use of electron microscopes in courses. There must be no connection to industry or research projects.

This fee schedule is binding for all users.
