I have been working as a research assistant in the ACPS group at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) since October 2022.
In the years before, I had gained some experience as a research assistant at the Chair of Mechatronics at the University of Rostock. After successfully completing my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics in 2019, I conducted research within an industrial project on the topic of control-oriented modelling and the development of novel controllers and observers for fuel cell systems.
Upon completion of the project, I joined to the ACPS group and will focus my ongoing research work on the energy-aware collaboration between the individuals in a swarm of autonomous underwater vehicles to extend the lifetime of all devices and minimise failures. This includes the field of modelling and simulation of the various subsystems, as well as the implementation of mission planning algorithms for single AUVs and AUV swarms.
