Abstract
Eine permanente Desinfektion des Trinkwassers an Bord von Flugzeugen ist nicht Stand der Technik. Durch die Zunahme des Flugverkehrs und der Passagierzahlen steigt das Risiko einer Übertragung von Krankheiten durch Kontakt mit verkeimtem Wasser. Ein Trinkwassermanagement, welches Konzepte zur sicheren Aufbereitung und zur sparsamen Nutzung miteinander vereint, soll diesem Umstand Abhilfe schaffen. Es werden Werkzeuge und Methoden zur Bewertung solcher Konzepte vorgestellt.
Onboard potable water management for aircraft
Due to an amendment of the drinking water regulations all water supply systems in public transport systems will have to provide drinking water in the future. Hence, airlines take a great interest in disinfection modules that can be installed in aircraft. In addition to the development of effective water disinfection, general investigations for the constructional improvement of existing water systems are necessary, to combine safe water treatment and sparing use. Tools and methods for assessing such concepts will be introduced.
