The professorship was endowed by Tempowerk, a Hamburg-based Technology Center.

The Tempowerk is the oldest technology park in Hamburg and a platform for cross-industry exchange in the technology sector. We are home to 120 technology-oriented SMEs from more than 40 industries with approximately 800 employees on around 30,000m² of office and pilot plant space.
We believe that cross-industry exchange is an essential building block for meeting future challenges. To this end, we connect people from a technological background through our active network inside and outside the Tempowerk.
With the endowed professorship, we want to research and improve the mechanisms of collaboration in the Tempowerk, the resident companies, and beyond.
