Project description:

RUVIVAL creates e-learning materials that deal with sustainable rural development. The project has been running since 2016 as part of the Hamburg Open Online University (HOOU). The RUVIVAL team is based at the Hamburg University of Technology (TU Hamburg). The aim is to disseminate knowledge about sustainable practices. This e-learning website gives you the tools to implement sustainable practices in the areas of sanitation, water and soil conservation. You can find our guiding principles in our mission statement. The RUVIVAL logo symbolises the revitalisation of rural regions, especially areas suffering from erosion. Rural areas harbour one of the most important resources, as healthy soil is the basis for food production. In addition, agricultural practices are closely linked to the condition of our waters.
