How to reach us

The nearest train station is Hamburg-Harburg, which has direct high-speed connections with ICE and IC to many German cities. Hamburg-Harburg can also be easily reached by frequent local trains (Metronom) within 10 minutes from Hamburg Central Station (Hamburg Hbf).

Once you have arrived at Hamburg-Harburg, take any southbound suburban train (S-Bahn) on the lines S3 (direction Neugraben) or S5 (direction Stade) and exit at Harburg Rathaus.

At the station Harburg Rathaus, follow the exit "Am Sand" and walk downhill following the street "Neue Straße". Walk through the pedestrian tunnel, and at the end of it turn right on Karnapp Straße. Turn right at the end of the road and you will find yourself in Blohmstraße. Alternatively, you can take bus #42 (direction Hafen Harburg) from Harburg Rathaus. Exit bus #42 at stop Hafen Harburg; the institute is located directly opposite the bus stop.
