How to reach us

The nearest train station is Hamburg-Harburg, which has direct high-speed connections with ICE and IC to many German cities. Hamburg-Harburg can also be easily reached by frequent local trains (Metronom) within 10 minutes from Hamburg Central Station (Hamburg Hbf).

Once you arrived at Hamburg-Harburg, take bus #142 which leaves from bus platform F at Hamburg-Harburg train station. Exit bus #142 at stop Harburg-Hafen; the institute is located directly opposite the bus stop.

Alternatively, you can reach us by taking suburban rail (S-Bahn) from Hamburg Central Station. For this route, take any southbound train on the lines S3 (direction Neugraben) or S5 (direction Stade) and exit at Harburg Rathaus. At the station, follow the exit "Am Sand" and walk downhill following the street "Neue Straße". Walk through the pedestrian tunnel, and at the end of it keep right on Karnapp Straße. Turn right at the end of the road and you will find yourself in Blohmstraße.
