Dr Muhammad Usman has published a new paper that has appeared in the journal Membranes (MDPI). The paper, titled ‘Elucidating the Mechanism of Electro-Adsorption on Electrically Conductive Ultrafiltration Membranes via Modified Poisson-Boltzmann Equation’, analyses the mechanisms of electro-adsorption in conductive ultrafiltration membranes using the modified Poisson-Boltzmann equation.
His research provides deeper insights into the interactions between electrically charged particles and membrane surfaces. Usman emphasises that these new insights could potentially enable improved control and efficiency in water treatment processes and other industrial applications.
The paper represents an important contribution to the understanding of electro-adsorption processes and provides valuable information for professionals interested in the further development of membrane technologies and sustainable filtration solutions.
