The event will take place all day (with open end). The exact schedule of the talks and the posters on display will be listed soon. Don't miss the festive closing with food and live music!
It is a great pleasure that we could win Dr. Sebastian Rakers as a guest speaker. His start-up Bluu Seafood produces the basis for cell-based fish dishes. With this ecological alternative to controversial aquaculture, no wild fish need to be fed, no fish need to be kept in confined spaces and there is no pollution of the water by antibiotics and feed residues. In his presentation, he will explain how this is possible, when we can expect this alternative source of protein to become widespread and what the Methuselah gene is all about.
We are also delighted to welcome other guests who will be giving us exciting insights into their different career paths in an open discussion round. We will be able to discuss all questions relating to careers in industry, research and government in the field of life sciences.
Various companies from the life science sector will be on site to give us an insight into career opportunities in the life science sector with presentations and exhibition stands.
