Crew Hamburg

Three times a year, crews of four to ten teams are put together in the early start-up phase.

The "Crew Hamburg" consists of six ambitious start-ups that go through the free programme of the Startup Port @TUHH.
This includes workshops and seminars, start-up advice on topics such as financing and finding investors, as well as networking and other events - always with the aim of enriching the path to becoming an entrepreneur!

Would you like to be part of the next crew with your team? Then please contact us at startupport@tuhh.de

amsight GmbH

The aim of amsight GmbH is to make additive manufacturing as reliable and cost-efficient as conventional manufacturing with the help of data-driven insights. Their software automates data management. This means that all relevant data is in one place. The AI engine identifies optimal manufacturing parameters and uncovers unknown cost-saving potential. The start-up has already successfully acquired the EXIST grant: amsight erhält EXIST

ISM

ISM aims to make shipping greener by providing shipbuilders and ship operators with valuable digital tools.

VisioPlan

Most people that have ever built or modified a property know the problem: they only become fully aware of the effects of the design of their floor plan in the phase of use. Misplannings then have to be either accepted or expensively corrected.
The goal of VisioPlan's four-person team is to provide user-friendly design planning solutions for private builders who value individual space concepts. Using VR technology, they overcome the lack of imagination and create a realistic sense of space. Optimized floor plans result from immersive user-testing even before the start of construction. This saves money, time and, above all, nerves. With this idea, the startup was already able to convince the advisors of the Exist-Gründungsstipendium and is now working on achieving the same with their target group.

DyssolTEC

The team from the Process Engineering Department at the Technical University of Hamburg offers the Dyssol software, which can simulate optimising and process planning measures using a digital process twin. Thanks to Dyssol, the technology, which was previously used for gas-liquid processes, can now also optimise solid processes and predict product properties without having to work on running production plants and accept possible downtimes.
The team is already working with major partners in industry.

Mesmeronic

The team from the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft offers 3-dimensional additive manufactured circuit carriers that can be produced individually and with many variants in small quantities at low costs. Additive manufacturing enables new design freedom for functional integration for both the electrical circuit and the circuit carrier itself.

VisualMINT

Old and boring teaching materials no longer appeal to today's students. Especially in the STEM area (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), it is a challenge to develop and foster enthusiasm on the part of the learners. The founders Tom Rothe and Tobias Brentrup of VisualMINT want to change exactly that and promote understanding and support individual learning paths with modern teaching materials. VisualMINT sees itself as a link between digital and analogue learning. With an intelligent learning platform and augmented reality, the start-up wants to take school-based experimentation in the STEM field to a new level: By combining digital visualisations and an experimental kit, physical phenomena are illustrated and made more tangible.
The startup has already successfully raised the InnoFounder funding: Förderung durch InnoFounder ermöglicht Entwicklung moderner Lehrmaterialien
