Description:

As part of the Industrial Indoor Localization (IIL) research project funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, an open-source software standard for environmental modeling in the age of Industry 4.0 is being developed. This is intended to simplify the provision of location-based services, reduce development costs and ensures easy expandability. A demonstrator was implemented showcasing an application example from the intralogistics domain.

The consortium consists of the two manufacturers of intralogistics solutions STILL and Jungheinrich, the sensor specialists Pepperl+Fuchs and SICK and, as research partners, the Institute for Aircraft Production Technology and the Institute for Technical Logistics at the TU Hamburg (TUHH).
