Lecturer:
Dr. Cheng Yang, Prof. Dr. sc. techn. Christian Schuster
Description:

- Maxwell’s Equations in integral and differential notation

- Boundary conditions

- Laws of conservation for energy and charge

- Classification of electromagnetic field properties

- Integral characteristics of time-independent fields (R, L, C)

- Generic approaches to solving Poisson’s Equation

- Electrostatic fields and specific methods of solving

- Magnetostatic fields and specific methods of solving

- Fields of electrical current density and specific methods of solving

- Action of force within time-independent fields

- Numerical methods for solving time-independent problems

The practical application of numerical methods will be trained within specifically prepared lectures in an interactive manner using small MATLAB programs.
