The design of ICs with ever increasing complexity and integration density is becoming more and more important. In the design of these circuits, the control of the complexity emerges as the primary problem. For this reason, the use of software tools that support the design at all design levels is indispensable. These tools range from visual specification tools to synthesis and verification tools on register transfer and gate level to design tools for placing and wiring cells on the IC. The objective of the "Digital Circuit Design"" is to provide an insight into the design methodology and the use of these design tools.
