Biography

Sudeep Hegde received his Bachelor of Engineering degree (Telecommunications) at BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru, India. He graduated in the TUHH M.Sc. program Information and Communication Systems with the thesis titled Enhanced Resource Scheduling for Platooning in 5G V2X Systems (2018). The research was conducted in collaboration with Nokia Bell Labs, where he worked as an industrial PhD researcher until 2022 with a focus on Cellular-Vehicle-to-Everything (CV2X) communications. Currently, he is a 3GPP Standardization Researcher/Delegate at Sharp Laboratories of America, working on AI/ML aspects related to device mobility in RAN2 (radio interface architecture and protocols).
