This course focuses on the mathematical theory of communication networks. You will learn to model the flow of traffic through such networks, and how to calculate expected performance, upper and lower bounds, and how to optimize the traffic flow and network design. It consists of two modules:
- Network Planning and Optimization
- Queuing Theory for Communication Networks
and a practical exercise where you get to apply your knowledge.
