Our collegues won the Student Design Competition „High-Sensitivity Motion Sensing Radar“ at the International Microwave Symposium in Denver, USA. The radar system they demonstrated satisfied all required characteristics optimally. With a weight of less than 10 gram and an average power of less than 10 mW the design yould measure heartbeat and breathing at a distance of 1 m reliably and contactless.
