The IEEE, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, New York, honors the two scientists Dr. Thomas Jaschke and Prof. Dr. Arne Jacob with the Harold A. Wheeler Application Prize Paper Award.
With their paper “A Dual-Polarized SIW Lens Antenna Array for Rx-/Tx-Integration at K/Ka-Band”, Jaschke & Jacob present a modular array of SIW antennas for satellite communication. The antenna properties are improved by means of dielectric lenses.
The coveted IEEE prize is awarded for outstanding scientific contributions by the IEEE Society Antennas and Propagation, one of the 39 IEEE Societies.
The award will be presented to the winners in person on July 17, 2024 in Florence.
The team of the Institute of High Frequency Technology at TU Hamburg congratulates the two authors on this great success!
