The NBDC 2017 is the dewatering and drying conference organized by the Nordic and Baltic countries. It has evolved from the NDC’s that were successfully held in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland. The NBDC is organized every two years. The main purpose of the NBDC 2017 is to provide a forum for exchange of technical and scientific knowledge on drying and dewatering between the industry, academia, research centers and consulting agencies. Another aim is to promote the best drying and dewatering experimental and industrial practices in the Nordic and Baltic nations and to disseminate them internationally. Topics covered will be on better products, enhanced processes and technologies for a sustainable society while complying with economical growth and industrial competiveness. Focus will be given on solving challenges on product-process quality, on energy utilization, on environment or climate change, and on technology-ecology impact.
