Institute for Ship Structural Design and Analysis

Welcome to the Institute for Ship Structural Design and Analysis (DE: Institut für Konstruktion und Festigkeit von Schiffen) of Hamburg University of Technology. Once part of the Institute for Naval Architecture at Hamburg University it is now one of the three institutes at TUHH that cover almost all aspects of naval architecture.

We—professors and staff of the institute—are working on numerous projects in the area of ship structural design.
At the same time we provide lectures and courses for the students of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
