On October 17th and 18th, the first Annual Conference of all members of the CRC was held at the Hamburg University of Technology. In an open atmosphere, all projects were presented in oral and poster sessions chaired by the research area coordinators Prof. Michael Schlüter, Prof. Irina smirnova and Prof. Raimund Horn. It was fantastic to see all the excellent work the researchers have already done and to feel the energy during the lively discussions driving the project forward.
