First SMART Reactor Prototype in Magnetic Resonance Imaging!

Today we enthusiastically placed the first prototype of a SMART Reactor in our world's largest vertical MRI for process imaging at the Hamburg University of Technology.

As in medical diagnostics to visualize the structure and function of tissues and organs in the body, we are using this technology to visualize the function of self-adapting components in our reactor "body". Our SMART Reactor prototype is transparent to allow comparison of MRI results with optical observations.

Selma Iraqi Houssaini from the Institute of Multiphase Flows - TUHH and Alexander Penn from the Institute of Process Imaging carefully inspect the assembly.
