For our research activities, the institute has experimental equipment as well as modern computer technology and software.
Besides our experimental plants on a pilot plant scale, the Institute also has a number of measurement equipment and devices, as well as basic options for additive manufacturing of small-scale elements. In addition, for more detailed analyses the service of the central lab of the TUHH can be utilized.
For the development and use of computer-aided tools, the institute has a number of state-of-the-art commercial and freely available software, as well as various in-house developments for the analysis, design and control of various processes.
