Thanks for your contribution to HICL 2024. Please review the following instructions carefully to ensure that your presentation runs smoothly.
1. Presentation Format
- File Type: Please prepare your presentation in either PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) or PDF format.
- Aspect Ratio: We recommend preparing your slides in 16:9 widescreen format to fit the display setup.
2. Time Allocation
- Total Time: We have allocated a time slot of 20 minutes for each presenter .
- Presentation: 15 minutes
- Q&A: 5 minutes
- Pacing: We recommend practicing your presentation to ensure you stay within the 15-minute limit. This allows time for audience engagement and smooth transition to the next presentation.
- Transition & Administration: There will be 5 minutes buffer time for the transition between two presentations
3. Submission
- Submission Method: Upload your file to the TUHH Cloud (Upload File).
- Backup: Bring a backup copy of your presentation on a USB drive.
4. Day of the Conference
- Arrival: Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your session begins to check in with the technical team and session chair to ensure your presentation is set up.
- Support: A technician will be available to assist you with any technical needs during your presentation.
5. Q&A Session
- Timing: After your presentation, you will have 5 minutes for questions from the audience. Please keep your answers concise to allow for multiple questions.
- Moderation: A session chair or moderator will be present to facilitate the Q&A and keep time.
6. Transition Between Presentations
- Wrap-Up: Please conclude your Q&A promptly to allow 5 minutes for the next presenter to set up.
