We are delighted to announce the seventeenth Hamburg International Conference of Logistics (HICL 2024) and invite you to participate from 25-27 September 2024. The coference is hosted by Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and organized in cooperation with the Northern Institute of Technology Management (NIT).
HICL seeks to create an inspiring environment for researchers and professionals to discuss solutions, challenges, and responsibilities companies face in logistics and supply chain management. We provide a multidisciplinary network, and welcome scientific and practical contributions from different disciplines, including Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Law, and Mathematics.
In an era marked by rapid global changes, the need to accelerate the transformation towards sustainable and resilient logistics systems and supply chains has never been more pressing. Adequately incorporating these dimensions poses unique challenges for logistics and supply chain management and offers many opportunities for science and practice. The collection and analysis of data to predict potential disruptions in supply chains or the need to share information between supply chain partners to understand and mitigate possible effects that products and services might have on the environment are just two examples of what these new roles entail.
Both, science and practice have recognized that successfully addressing aspects such as supply chain risk management, digitalization, and sustainable supply chain management is vital for being and remaining competitive in this changing environment. HICL 2024 focuses on research concepts and ideas that reveal new opportunities and provide insights into the future of logistics and supply chain management.
We cordially invite you to sumbit your research and to join us at HICL 2024 in Hamburg!
