The Jean Monnet Module ‘REDSY’ at Hamburg University of Technology integrates European studies in the non-technical curriculum and addresses the regulation of the digital economy at EU level, with a special focus on the service sector.
Jean Monnet Modules are specially funded teaching projects by the European Union that aim to strengthen knowledge of European integration processes and incorporate EU-related content into higher education. As part of the project, two new problem-based courses are being offered - one at Bachelor's level and one at Master's level. These courses provide both basic institutional knowledge of the European Union and current regulatory approaches and are supplemented by lectures from external experts and study trips.
To prepare for the courses, students and the interested public have access to an online course that provides basic economic knowledge relevant for the regulation of digital markets.
