Riga Technical University (RTU) is an accredited internationally recognised European university that consists of 8 faculties and 35 institutes. University ensures research excellence and offers exciting full-time or part-time studies in Engineering Sciences, Technologies, Natural and Environmental Sciences as well as in Architecture and Engineering Economics.

In full-time studies there are more than 1900 state financed study places. Part-time studies are offered only for tuition fee. The RTU offers academic and professional study programmes at three levels (cycles) – undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies, which corresponds to the guidelines set forth in the Bologne conference declaration on creating a single higher education space in the European Union.
