In close cooperation with the other related sections of TUHH we are responsible for the education in Naval Architecture. Our lectures cover basic hydrostatics, design principles and methodologies, safety of ships, resistance and propulsion, marine propellers and the design of high value ships.

An important focus of our education principle is the introduction of first principle design methods into the design process of ships. We focus on high value ships such as Pax, RoPax, Container Vessels and Navy Ships. During our courses the student gets familiar with the basic knowledge as well as with the application of the related design methods.
