Description
The aim of the lecture is to get across knowledge about the research field of maritime logistics to the involved students. Therewith, classical and present challenges are in the focus. General tasks comprise e.g.

- Management of material and information flows in the maritime logistics chain ‘ship - port - hinterland’.
Moreover, the assessment, selection, dimensioning, introduction, and execution of technology developments is a valuable content of the lecture.
