Hua Zhang

Hua Zhang is a professor at Tongji University, Institute of Waste Treatment & Reclamation since 2012. In 2006, she received her PhD in Environmental Engineering from the same University. As a principal investigator, she has been responsible for several national and international R&D projects supported by central government (NSFC, National Hi-Tech Research and Development Program, National Key Technology R&D Program of China, etc.) related to treatment, disposal and beneficial reuse of solid waste. She is an associate editor of “Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association”, member of Youth editorial board for “Carbon Research” and “Biochar”.
