Jianguo Liu

Jianguo Liu is a tenured professor and director of the Division of Solid Waste Management, School of Environment, Tsinghua University, China. He is also the director of the Beijing Research Center for Biomass-to-Gas. His research fields include biological conversion of organic solid waste, innovative treatment of MSWI flyash, reactive solidification/stabilization of soil contaminated by toxic organic compounds, and leaching-based environmental assessment of beneficial reutilization of solid waste. He is a leading scientist for several national key R&D projects in solid waste fields, as well as a key consulting expert for solid waste management in China.
