Thepurpose of this course is to equip students with important communication skillsto successfully navigate the dynamic world of professionals dealing withinnovation. Students will explore the field ofcommunication by getting in touch with different communication models, like theSchramm model of communication. Successfully communicating complex ideasin a simple, yet engaging way is key to bring about change in organizations.Here, proficiency with tools like PowerPoint is crucial to create compellingvisual support. Also, future change makers need to bring together perspectivesin multidisciplinary and increasingly intercultural teams. Being able to giveand receive feedback in a constructive way is equally important. Communicationwill be discussed in these different facets in an interactive format and afocus on practical application.
