Subtitle:
This course is part of the module: Transport Processes
Semester:
WiSe 23/24
Course type:
PBL -Projekt-/problembasierte Lehrveranstaltung (Lehre)
Course number:
lv105_w23
Lecturer:
Prof. Dr. Michael Schlüter, Nicolas Nickel, M. Sc, M. Sc. Daniel Niehaus
Description:

In this Problem-Based Learning unit the students have to design a multiphase reactor for a fast chemical reaction concerning optimal hydrodynamic conditions of the multiphase flow.

Pre-requisites:
line-height:1.8em
Performance accreditation:
>

The four students in each team have to:

collect and discuss material properties and equations for design from the literature,

calculate the optimal hydrodynamic design,

check the plausibility of the results critically,

write an exposé with the results.

This exposé will be used as basis for the discussion within the oral group examen of each team.
