Institute for Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Management
With the appointment of Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Grabe as a university professor, the Department of Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Management was founded in 1998 and renamed the Institute of Geotechnics and Construction Management in 2006. Fundamental and applied research in marine geotechnics as well as teaching in the fields of geotechnics and construction management form the focus of the institute.
